In Cebu Province, PLTCOL TOMAS S SANTANDER JR, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration led the Cebu PPO delegation in participating the "Buhay Ingatan Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Bayanihan ng Mamamayan Fun Run 2023" at Hoops Dome, Lapu-Lapu City, on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. led the fun run and roll out of "Buhay Ingatan Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Bayanihan ng Mamamayan. Present also during the occasion are Mayor Junard "Ahong" Chan, Representative Cindi King-Chan, Mayor Jonas Cortes, Mayor Mike Rama, Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, PBGEN ANTHONY A ABERIN, Regional Director, PRO7; PLTCOL LEO B TY, Chief, Police Community Affairs and Development Unit and other key officers.
Representatives from the different police stations, BIDA warriors, barangay officials and other government agencies participated in the activity.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) also acknowledged and recognized the functional Anti-Drug Abuse Councils of several municipalities and component cities for their outstanding performance.
