In Cebu Province, a total of 10.3M worth of illegal drugs was confiscated from a 27-year-old suspect in Lower Kabanayan Sta. Lucia Road Barangay Bulacao, Talisay City, Cebu on July 21, 2023.
Jonathan Clemente Mendo, included in the HVI watchlist and a resident of Hawod Compound Barangay Bulacao, Talisay City, Cebu was arrested during a bust operation after receiving intelligence report from reliable sources that the suspect was peddling illegal drugs in Talisay City.
The operation was led by PIU/PDEU CPPO in coordination with the local police.
Confiscated from Mendo were a total of 1.520 kilograms of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu valued at Php 10, 336,000.00.
PCOL ROMMEL J OCHAVE, Provincial Director said that the police force will be relentless in its pursuit to capture criminals and assure the Cebuanos that they are safe.
